    Hi all,

    I'm trying to do something very simple in Power Automate which is to set a value for a "user" field in Sharepoint
    If doing this manually in SharePoint, I edit the file properties and select a user from the drop down. It only allows one user to be selected.

    In Power Automate, I'm using the "update file properties" action but I don't know the correct syntax to use and keep getting an error

    Looking at the output of existing records the field syntax is

    {"@odata.type":"#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedUser","Claims":"i:0#.f|membership|username@domain","DisplayName":"First Name Last Name ","Email":"emailaddress@domain","Picture":"https://xxx.sharepoint.com/sites/test/_layouts/15/UserPhoto.aspx?Size=L&AccountName=emailaddress@domain","Department":"Dept","JobTitle":"Job title"}

    I've tried inputting many different variations of the above (For testing purposes I'm hardcoding the information) but I keep getting the error "The specified user could not be found"

    Can anyone advise what syntax should be used?

    Thanks in advance,

    It seems I was overcomplicating things!

    The syntax is just i:0#.f|membership|username@domain
