  • 1.  Creating a Consolidated SLA Report

    Good Afternoon,

We have created roughly 10 SLA reports that are published on the Power BI service. These reports are pretty robust. Each of the reports has a page that is essentially a table that shows SLA scores for the last 6 months. Is there something in Power BI or Power Automate, where we can export each of the SLA tables found on each report to excel and dump into SharePoint or something similar ? My goal is to dump the scores from each SLA and then feed that data back into Power BI to create a consolidated SLA report. Any suggestions would be wonderful. We were looking into Dataflows, but honestly do not like them currently.

Are the report pbix or paginated? If they are paginated, you can use power automate to export them to csv. The export action writes the export to its "memory" so in theory you could do all the exports as csv and append each one to a variable, then take that variable and write one csv output file at the end of the flow. You'll have to tweak the import process at the end because each append will (i think) include the column headers. You can export to any of the formats supported by paginated export in service. My experience is the paginated has to be mapped to a gateway to authenticate the API export

if you are trying to create a new PBIX, you can import from multiple datasources (should be able to import from multiple pbixs) and use the merge query function in the power query editor to consolidate the imports into one single source "query" so when you go to build the visuals there is only one source object that has the data from all the pbixs you imported from..
