Power Automate Exchange

Hello all,

I am currently attempting to make a flow that I am not sure if it is possible but I wanted to check with the hive mind before looking for a new solution.

What I am wanting to do is the following:

Using CDS: When an account is deleted I would like to know the account name and id of that account. The issue that I am having is if the account is deleted then I don't have an id or account name to 'retrieve'.(Am I thinking about this is the right way?)

Maybe there is a way to do this differently. Any help would be great and appreciated. Thank you!

Your best option would be to run a one off flow to get all users and store them in a table, then have a scheduled flow that gets all users, compares with the table and fires off a notification if there are any differences, then syncs the table. You could run every half hour, or maybe less. Personally I'd use a logic app but the principle is the same.

you are correct, you won't be able to get that info because there is no pre-image step.

Currently not possible with Power Automate but you should be able to achieve this with a classic real-time workflow.

1. Open your solution in the classic editor.
2. Click processes and create a new workflow - ensure to unselect Run this workflow in the background (you can also convert it after if you forget to do this).
3. Set it up like the below and write your details to another entity.

I think you should even be able to capture who did the deleting!
