  • 1.  Update SharePoint list of users with O365 Users Connector

    Hello Everyone,

I am need of guidance and assistance in trying to create a flow to update a list of users in a SharePoint list using the O365 Users connector. (at least from what I can find online it seems the likely path to follow)

My requirement is this, we have changed phone systems and management does not like the new directory options, they basically want what they are used to having, which is the data in a flat tabular format. (see screenshot of the User List in SharePoint)

I created the SharePoint list by exporting the 365 users list, so that I could confirm their requirements. This version of the list is what they want, so now I would really like to be able to update the list automatically somehow on a daily basis.

I have found some references to creating a flow using the O365 Users connector. Having the flow clear the current list and repopulating the list each time it is run.

    Does this approach make sense?
The only Flows I have created are from an existing template and very simple, I don't know how to do this at all.

    Please Advise,
    Thanks, Scott

    Hi Scott,

this seems fairly easy to do by creating a Scheduled Cloud flow and run it once a day.
Next step is to insert the Search for Users (v2) building block and leave the search string empty
Next step is update your sharepoint list with the ID of the previously found users, it will automatically create a Apply To Each loop for every user in your directory

You can filter these results further if you like before updating your Sharepoint list but this should give you an idea on how to proceed
